The R5 manufacturing unit has a robust design team capable of developing indigenous designs as well as customizing international designs to meet local requirements.
Together with our local partner, R5 offers 3D printed components and spares. This advanced capability can be applied throughout the product development cycle, from initial design to the ultimate creation of a product. We leverage 3D printing to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and customization.
We possess extensive manufacturing and design expertise to support the repair, maintenance, and manufacturing of various composite parts, components, and assemblies. With our fully equipped integrated Composite/Metal Machine capability in the US, we have the capabilities for design, prototyping, manufacturing, and repair of high tensile strength composite, ballistic, and Level IV Armor materials
We offer state-of-the-art NIJ Level IV plates crafted from ceramic and patented resin technology. These plates can be manufactured either in the U.S. or India, providing flexibility to meet specific requirements. Additionally, we are currently in the process of developing a locally manufactured tactical ceramic armor plate that is stand-alone, multi-hit, and lightweight, utilizing our patented resin technology.
We are committed to making our products locally compliant. Our Level IV ballistic jackets are more than 50% indigenous, with the ceramic plates being the sole imported component. This ensures that our solutions align with local regulations and requirements.
R5’s manufacturing facility in Mumbai is fully functional and capable of producing ballistic vests of NIJ Level III & IV. We handle internationally accepted ballistic vest materials, ensuring the highest quality standards are met.
R5 maintains expertise in delivering training in various areas, including armor, composites, simulation, and online tactical training.
