Mr. Somashekara Kumar

  • Leads R5 Investment Services LLP in the field of defence solutions, channel partnership and other activities relating to manufacturing support and logistics solutions in India and Globally.
  • He comes to R5 with an entrepreneur’s background encompassing 20 years’ experience in energy, telecom, banking, and commodities including Business management. 
  • Aided in the establishment of the Indian operations of Green Ventures and was active in their business of carbon trading and renewable energy in the regions of India, Nepal & Sri Lanka. He also coordinated efforts in establishing a joint venture of hydro projects in Nepal in 2011-12.
  • In his earlier stint, Somashekara headed the risk management department of a FTSE based infrastructure and energy conglomerate from 2011-2019.
